Maloney - Jane Casey

Mrs. Jane C. Maloney, 84, of Plantation. Fla., near Ft. Lauderdale, died Wednesday afternoon in the Darcy Convalescent Hospital there. A native of Crawfordsville, she had lived here until five years ago when she made her home with a son, Dr. John Maloney of Ft. Lauderdale. She was a daughter of Timothy and Nora Marchisey Casey and was born Aug. 3, 1881. She married John F. Maloney, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Maloney was a member here of St. Bernard Catholic Church and of the Rosary Society. Surviving besides the son are a sister, Katherine C. Porter of Crawfordsville and two grandchildren, Jack and Christine Maloney, at home. Three brothers and three sisters are deceased. Funeral services are announced for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry F. Ward officiating. Friends may call at Bright Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday, and rosary services are there at 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. – jlr
